Video Clip

I just finished some stills for an upcoming video clip. Director is Hugo Keizer and its made by Corrino Media Group.
Can't say much about it at this time, but I did a few pictures for the end of the clip.

CHOW team; Turd Burglars - Sketches

Doing a competition on ConceptArt.org with two on-line friends of mine; Siiilon and Mvocet. CHOW (Character Of the Week) is now doing a team competition where each team has to create 6 characters.

Our plan: A post apocalyptic future in which people from different time periods are stuck; "To create an unlikely cast of individuals brought together."
Benefit: Creating a mix of classic apparel (Baroc, Conquistador, 1500's, tribal African, etc.) mixed with future; junk, technology, clothing, weapons, etc..
The roles: Hero (F), Shadow, Protector, Sage, Technician, Rabble Rouser.

A Maori (Chief?) as Protector:

Colour sketch; it turned into an African for now :P


First sketch for the female hero. Happy with the outcome not using reff.
Its will be a Jugenstill/1870-1920 -period young woman.

Spellborn Art Test Sketches

Here are sketches done for the art test at Spellborn, applying for concept artist. They just released "The Chroniscles of Spellborn", an online RPG.
For the art test, I could choose from 4 topics, like creature, armour and environment design. I tried to do em all of course...

Sunday Sketches

Here are today's sketches. It wasn't a good day for sketches, my mind wondered all over the place between writing letters and things. Had ref for the nude, zero patience for the speedies.

Untill AVG crashed my computer, this was the last stored sketch I was working on... Thanks for removing the user32dll AVG... @#!@#%$

Lion Sketches

Made the female lion to resemble my girl. She is much like a lion, trust me...
Happy about the face of the male lion, but both need touch-ups. Will do a color update soon.

Horsemen sketches

Had a mental glacier in the flow of creatinessity awhile back. Then saw the >Dark Siders< trailer and noticed my favourite comic artist, Joe Madureira was the Creative Lead! Dak Siders was the incentive to draw my own 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. The main idea was to (1.) draw draw draw again, and (2.) try to create 'em from a new perspective.
Drew Famin first outside a cafe in Brno, CZ, on a good day with my son. The rest folowed soon after.

Short descriptions:
"Famin": Cept eating his arms, War gave him gloves to stop doing it, it was embarrasing. He told him he'd eat them one more time when the gloves were done, insisted his nails could grow through. Wields a regrowing bone & tooth club, "food of the poor". Has "a mount" made only from fat and bone.
Origin: When man was still a young race, one's hunger was so absurd he took to eating men, children, all possible creatures... Eventually, even his own army. He seemed to devouer the land around him by presence alone(or ate it), leaving a void in our race's early existance.

"Pestulence -the boy."
Origin: A smart boy, bewondered by shaman and wise men, the workings of nature and the existance of life itself. Banished from his- and every other settlement, after contracting a kind of plague. Roamed tirelessly, fed by anger and vindictive thought. Put all his effort in treating his fatal illnesses and gathering far more deseases. Not giving in to any of it, he became an utter vessel of corruption. His final act and effort was poisoning a whole river system, and like Famin, left a great void of human life.

"War": One is drawn from the conflict/deceit side of war. (no straight story idea yet)
- Death is the end of these three at the end of all, but has never had a mortal incarnation. So gwhat do I draw?
